Chocolate Mousse Custard

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • ¼ cup raw honey coconut sugar, or maple syrup
  • ½ cup cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
  • 12 tsp sea salt
  • ¼ cup water or coconut milk
  • ¼ cup nut butter
  • 1 tsp gelatin (bloom in the water or milk
  • Any assorted topping such as nuts and chocolate chips or dried fruit


  • In a food processor, mix avos, honey, cacao, coconut oil, vanilla, salt, with ¼ cup water until smooth. Add more liquid if it’s too thick
